Conservatory Displays
The Conservatories at Brookside Gardens consist of two glass buildings joined by a short hallway. The Conservatories house a large collection of tropical plants including banana, giant bird of paradise, and mimosa as well as seasonal displays in the spring, summer, and autumn and a terrific holiday show. The Conservatories are also used for special programs, such as the holiday train display and live Butterfly Exhibit in summer.
Conservatories CLOSED for show change Monday, April 16- Friday, April 27, South House reopens May 5, with Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly Exhibit
The Conservatories at Brookside Gardens host four changing
shows each year:
- Spring Display: January through April
- Summer Display & Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly Exhibit: May through mid-September
- Fall Chrysanthemum Display: October through mid-November
- Winter: December
