This park preserves approximately 231 acres along the Magruder Branch from Damascus Recreational Park north to Damascus Blvd. Like its companion park the the south Lower Magruder Branch Park, Upper Magruder Branch Park is not developed for active recreation but visitors are welcome to enjoy the natural environment in an invironmentally-sensitive manner.
