Capital Improvements Program (CIP)

The Parks Department CIP is prepared every two years and projects capital expenditures throughout a six-year cycle. For details about the CIP Process, please click here.

Proposed FY13-18 CIP:

The County Executive's Recommendations for Parks' FY13-18 CIP will be reviewed by the Montgomery County Council before adoption in May 2012 The County Council held public hearings on the proposed CIP on February 7 and 8, 2012 in Rockville.

Current CIP (FY11-16):

In May 2011, after public hearings and committee deliberations, the Montgomery County Council adopted the Amended Parks FY11-16 CIP). Scroll through to see all the Project Description Forms for the Amended CIP.

CIP Projects at a Glance provides a list of capital projects by park or facility name, as scheduled in the adopted FY11-16 CIP.

The Montgomery County Department of Recreation (MCRD) is a separate agency with its own Capital Budget. The Amended MCRD FY11-16 CIP funds recreational facilities such as community centers and pools.
