  • Weather Cancellations for Park Activity Buildings:
    In the event of inclement weather, park activity buildings will follow closings issued by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). Closings will be posted on www.ParkPermits.org and recorded on the Park Permits phone line, 301-495-2525. In the event of a closure due to inclement weather, please contact the Permit Office at 301-495-2525 to obtain a refund or to reschedule your event.
  • Effective December 1, 2010, all scheduling for Montgomery Parks athletic fields will be managed by the Office of Community Use of Public Facilities. In an effort to streamline County services, the Office of Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) is now the scheduling agency for all fields previously scheduled by Montgomery Parks, M-NCPPC in Montgomery County. All other existing Parks policies and procedures will remain in place for the spring/summer 2011 season. Read more.

  • Local park field fees will increase from $3/hour to $5/hour for the Spring 2011 season. This was approved by the Planninig Board on Thursday, May 20.

  • In order to book any permitted Park facility, you first need to open a ParkPASS account. Go to www.ParkPASS.org to sign up today! These accounts are FREE, easy to set up, and will make your future bookings quick and convenient. Plus, as a ParkPASS holder, you'll be able to book park facilities and register for classes and programs online 24/7 from the comfort of your home or office!   • Attention athletic field users: Please help us take care of our fields and respect the closure dates and our official inclement weather policy. Violations of this regulation are subject to a $100 fine and denial or revocation of future permits.
