Can I have a Moon Bounce at the park?
Moon Bounces are allowed at some parks with advance approval in writing from the park manager and a $1 million insurance certificate listing M-NCPPC as an additional insured. Any request for approval of a Moon Bounce must be made at least one week prior to the event date. Failure to receive written approval or proof of insurance at least one week in advance could result in cancelation of the permit. Contact the Permit Office for more details.

Do I need a permit to sell items or food on park property?
Yes, concession permits are required in order to sell any items or food on park property. We offer a number of different options. Please visit  www.ParkPermits.org or call 301-495-2525 for further details.

Am I allowed to charge or collect admission fees at my event?
 The exchange of money on park property requires a special use permit and written approval from the Director of Parks. At no time can a special event or organizer charge admission for entry to our parks.

Do I need a permit for filming and professional photography in the parks?
Filming or professional photography in the parks require a filming permit and a $1 million insurance certificate listing M-NCPPC as an additional insured.  Contact the Permit Office for more details.

Can I have a rocket launch in the park?
Rocket launches require special permission and are not approved for use in all parks. Please contact the Park Permit Office at 301-495-2525 for further information.

Can I hold an exercise class or other program in the park?
All classes or programs held on park property require a permit. Visit www.ParkPermits.org to learn more about our Class/Clinics/Camps policy and fees and download an application, or call the Permit Office at 301-495-2525.
